Mission

Our National poet Subramaniya Bharathi envisaged a bright future for Tamil Language by translating eminent works from great languages in the world.  Our aim is to carry out the grand vision of the poet.

Long-term Objective

To translate works from Indian Languages as well as the developed languages of the world.

Objectives

    • To enrich Tamil language through translation of great works from all over the world.

    • First and foremost translating works of Science, Literary Classics, Biographies, Philosophical works and Modern Literature.

    • To encourage translators to bring out their best in the art of translation.

    • To conduct Workshops, Symposiums, Seminars, Conferences on Translation.

    • To train aspiring young translators.

  • To make our institute as a hub for Translation Centres and Institutes in India.
